The Police Command in Kano State has detained 13 individuals for allegedly vandalizing vehicles at the State High Court premises during the #EndBadGovernance protest.
Commissioner of Police Salma Dogo confirmed the arrests in a telephone interview
Dogo stated that operatives apprehended the suspects at the court premises and emphasized that the command had implemented proactive security measures to ensure the safety of residents during the protest.
“The police, in collaboration with sister security agencies, are conducting intensive patrols to guarantee the safety of residents and protesters,” said Dogo. “This collaboration aims to maintain law and order in the state during the duration of the protest.”
The commissioner also urged residents to provide credible intelligence on suspicious persons and movements to security agencies.
