Social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has revealed why Mavin Records founder, Michael Ajereh, also known as Don Jazzy, donated ₦100 million to his Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO). In an Instagram post, VDM expressed his gratitude for the generous donation and shared that Don Jazzy supported the initiative because of its focus on improving humanity, particularly in the area of education.

VDM stated that the donation, made on October 16, 2024, is aimed at enhancing public school education in Nigeria by providing students with advanced educational tools and resources to build a strong foundation. He emphasized that Don Jazzy’s contribution aligns with his NGO’s mission to give children better opportunities for learning through modern and innovative methods.

“Let it be known that Don Jazzy gave money to someone named Martins Vincent Otse aka VeryDarkMan because he believes in his work for humanity,” VDM wrote.

Despite the significant support, VDM revealed that he and Don Jazzy have only met once, briefly, and did not have an extended conversation. Their interaction was short, but it was clear that Don Jazzy saw value in his mission.

VDM’s NGO, launched on October 12, 2024, focuses on transforming public education in Nigeria by incorporating cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the learning process. Since the unveiling, the organisation has garnered over ₦35 million in donations within 24 hours, and support continues to pour in from various sectors.
