Owodunni Ibrahim, better known as Primeboy, has responded to accusations made by Abosede Adeyemo-Aloba, the mother of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, regarding his relationship with the deceased artist.
In a recent interview, Mohbad’s mother alleged that Primeboy had frequent altercations with her son, particularly after Mohbad gained fame. She also claimed that Primeboy complained about being neglected by the late singer and was advised to flee following Mohbad’s death to avoid suspicion.
Primeboy, through his lawyer Akinpelu Ogunbona, refuted these allegations, describing them as defamatory and misleading. In a statement issued on Saturday, Primeboy’s legal team asserted that the claims were false and had damaged his reputation.
The statement emphasized, “Your actions are deliberate to injure and traduce the integrity of our client, who is a rising star in the music industry. These allegations have significantly and negatively impacted the affection and love he enjoys from his fans and well-wishers worldwide.”
Primeboy’s legal team has hinted at potential legal action, accusing Mohbad’s mother of defamation and deliberately misrepresenting his relationship with the late singer.
