Libya’s head coach, Nasser Al-Hadiri, has announced a 28-man squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Super Eagles of Nigeria. The squad includes a mix of experienced players and rising talents, reflecting Al-Hadiri’s tactical approach. Notable inclusions are Abu Shaibab from Al-Ittihad, Mohammed Al-Tabbal of Al-Nasr, and Ahmed Al-Masmari from Barcelona B.

The first match will be held at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on October 11, with the return leg scheduled in Benina four days later. Currently positioned at the bottom of Group D with one point from two games, Libya sees these matches as crucial to improve their standings and secure qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
