A legal firm, Oli & Partners, has issued a formal response to social media allegations linking Mr. Henry Nzubechukwu Ikeji to impersonation and an alleged fraud involving a foreign national, insisting that the claims are unfounded and that the matter is currently before a court of competent jurisdiction.
In a statement dated February 3, 2026, and signed by J. I. Ekeoma, Esq., the firm said it was acting on the instructions of its client following what it described as “several social media posts making the rounds” alleging that Ikeji impersonated a Dubai prince and obtained the sum of $2.5 million from a Romanian woman.
The solicitors urged members of the public to disregard the allegations, stating that the claims are baseless. They emphasized that the case is sub judice, noting that legal constraints prevent them from disclosing details of the matter at this time.
According to the letter, the firm said the outcome of the case would be made public once the court reaches a determination, with the aim of clearing their client’s name and restoring his reputation.
The legal representatives also called for respect for their client’s privacy, stating that Ikeji would not be making any public comments while the matter remains in court. They further cautioned media organizations and social media users against the dissemination of what they described as false information.
The firm added that any further communication on the issue would be conveyed through official channels.
