ABUJA – Several individuals involved in the #EndBadGovernance protests held from August 1 to 10 have been remanded in Kuje Correctional Centre. This decision follows charges of treason filed against them by the Federal Government.

Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja issued the remand order on Monday, pending the hearing and decision on their bail application, which is scheduled for September 11, 2024. The protesters have been charged with terrorism, a six-count accusation they pleaded not guilty to during the court session.
