Controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has responded to a leaked call recording shared by social media influencer Martins Otse, a.k.a. VeryDarkMan. In an Instagram story on Monday, Bobrisky posted, “Nurse Titi, your patient is out again,” seemingly addressing the controversy surrounding the recording.
The leaked call allegedly features Bobrisky admitting that he was not imprisoned but residing in a well-furnished apartment near the prison, with full access to his mobile phone. He also purportedly dismissed rumors of engaging in fraudulent activities, claiming his wealth is legitimate, largely earned through social media influencing, for which he charges up to $100,000.
In September, VeryDarkMan had released another audio recording, accusing Bobrisky of bribing Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials with N15 million to drop money laundering charges against him. This followed claims that Bobrisky had been convicted of mutilating the naira and sentenced to six months in jail.
Bobrisky has consistently denied the allegations, stating that he did not bribe any EFCC officials and rejecting claims that he had never served time in prison. He urged the public to disregard the accusations.
