Nigerian-born British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua has shared how advice from football legend Cristiano Ronaldo positively influenced his career. The two met in Riyadh after Joshua’s recent victory over former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
In an interview with TNT Sports, Joshua recounted their conversation, highlighting Ronaldo’s insights into diet and training. He emphasized the effectiveness of Ronaldo’s regimen, stating, “The regimen he keeps to stay healthy… I achieved seven hours of sleep after following some of his recommendations. That was a significant moment in my career.”
Joshua is preparing for a highly anticipated fight against Daniel Dubois at Wembley on Saturday, September 21, where the IBF World Heavyweight title will be on the line.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo, at 39, continues to shine in the football world, currently playing for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League after a storied career with clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus.
