The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has initiated a seven-day warning strike in response to the ongoing abduction of their colleague, Dr. Ganiyat Popoola, who has been held captive by kidnappers for the past eight months.
Dr. Dele Abdullahi, President of NARD, announced the strike following an emergency virtual meeting of the National Executive Council on Sunday.
