Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, known as Omosexy, has expressed profound gratitude for her life and health after a life-threatening health scare that led to an emergency surgery. In a heartfelt Instagram post, the veteran actress shared the details of her frightening ordeal, which involved severe back and chest pain, persistent vomiting, and intense stomach discomfort.
Omotola revealed that her health issues began while she was busy preparing for her films and attending the Academy Voting Members’ screening of Gladiator II. Despite her excitement for the event, she struggled to stay upright as her symptoms intensified. She had already been rushed to the emergency room twice earlier that week for severe chest and back pain, which doctors initially attributed to high blood pressure and acid reflux.
However, after the screening, her condition worsened, and she was rushed to the hospital once again. This time, after a series of scans and tests, the doctors discovered that her gallbladder had become severely dilated and required immediate surgery. Omotola described the experience as a “fight for her life,” expressing her gratitude for surviving the ordeal.
In her post, she reflected on the fragility of life and the importance of gratitude, sharing how she fought through the pain and is now recovering. She encouraged her followers to take time to give thanks for life and good health, even in challenging times.
