The Kwara State Government has announced that workers who fail to register with the Kwara State Residents’ Registration Agency (KWSRRA) will not receive their salaries or bonuses for November. The directive, revealed by Finance Commissioner Dr. Hauwa Nuru, aims to enhance accountability, transparency, and resource management across the state.
The registration process, which began in July, is designed to create a comprehensive database for effective planning and service delivery. Dr. Nuru emphasized that workers must complete their registration to ensure fair compensation and strengthen the state’s payroll system.
“This is a vital step toward building an accurate database, which improves service delivery and enhances the integrity of financial and administrative systems,” the commissioner explained.
Employees who have not yet registered are urged to visit the nearest KWSRRA center to complete their enrolment promptly.
